The Walrus Magazine writes about Jean Cocteau in an article entitled “A Dandy for Our Times”. Cocteau, the enfant terrible of early 20th century Paris »knew everybody«, was dismissed as »a dilettante and a dabbler« and perfected the type of the »exquisite dandy« with a »supreme vanity«.
